TPS meeting – Tuesday, September 20th

All of a sudden it is Monthly League Competition time already!  This Tuesday, September 20th, is entry night!

Members may enter one colour print, one black & white/monochrome print and one digital image.  Prints should be no less that 10 x 8 inches and on mount board no larger that 16 x 20 inches.  Digital images should be 1024 pixels on the long side and be 92 dpi.  Digital images are to be emailed to  – if you don’t have access to email the image can be submitted on disc or USB memory stick.  The image should be titled as follows: “member number – level – image title” e.g. “1825- Novice – View from the window at Le Gras”

If you’re not too sure of your member number or haven’t received it yet – your name will do instead for the moment.  For more details and information on Tallaght Photographic Society competitions click on the following link: Competitions

Don’t forget – our TPS members Beginners Class is on this Monday, September 19th, at the South Dublin County Library from 7.00pm to 8.00pm for everything you need to know about photography but were afraid to ask!

A quick reminder that Shane O’Keeffe has nominated his theme for October’s One-Shot Competition as “Light“.  Images in print only, no smaller than 10 x 8 inches if possible and do not need to be mounted.  Entries are to be in on Tuesday October 4th and Shane will judge the winning image on the night!
