TPS Outing 7th August
Our outing this week on the 7th August is to Victoria’s Way. We are being aloud in to Victoria Way after hours and the place is The Indian Sculpture Park and covers about 22 acres of open country and forest. At present there are 22 black granite stone sculptures and 3 bronzes on view, ranging in size from 5ft 6 ins to about 15ft. You can find more info at http://www.victoriasway.eu/index.htm
We will be meeting in Molloy’s car park on Tuesday evening for a 7.30pm start (so don’t be late). Prepare for the weather and don’t forget your camera!
If you are going straight out,
From Dublin take the N11 south towards Wicklow. Turn right at Kilmacanogue towards Glendalough. After about 7 miles turn right towards Sally Gap (Route 759).
At the first crossroad (after 600 yards) turn left towards Roundwood. Road L1036.
You’ll find the Indian Sculpture Park @ Victoria’s Way, 300 yards up the road on the left.
