Tuesday, June 17th Club Outing and more…
Our great friends Palmerstown Camera Club are holding their 5th Annual Photographic Exhibition on the Saturday & Sunday 21st & 22nd of June 2014 at the Parish Hall, Palmerstown Village from 10am to 5pm. They have kindly extended a warm invitation to all Tallaght Photographic Society members to attend. This would be well worth a visit if you can spare an hour or so that weekend as the exhibition will be sure to contain some very creative and inspiring work and you’ll be very welcome.
Last Tuesday’s weather improved greatly and prompted a smashing turnout for the club outing to Valleymount Bridge at Blessington Lakes.
This Tuesday, June 17th, we’re off to Lough Bray near Glencree, Co Wickow. Lough Bray is a tarn or corrie lake formed by a glacier in the ice age and consists of an upper and lower lake. Nearby village, Glencree is home to the Glencree German War Cemetery which may also be of interest. Alongside the cemetery runs the Glencree River.
As usual, we’ll meet at Molloy’s car park on Tuesday evening, leaving at 7.30pm. Parking at Lough Bray and in Glencree is limited so car pooling from Molloy’s would be a good idea. Hope to see you there!
