TPS Meeting Tuesday 23rd January

This Tuesday Neil O’Reilly LIPF will give a talk on wildlife photography. Neil will offer advice and tips on how to improve your wildlife and nature shots and the equipment used to get decent nature and wildlife shots. Neil will also look at some locations around Ireland where there is a chance of seeing some interesting wildlife. We are also hoping to make a trip this month to Avoca whenever we get a good weekend. Avoca is a great spot for seeing Red Kites. Red Kites are a large bird of prey that were pushed to extinction here in Ireland back in the 1900’s. They were re-introduced to Ireland 10 years ago and are now thriving and Avoca is probably the best place in Ireland to see these magnificent birds. It is also a very picturesque village with plenty of photographic opportunities. More on this to follow when we decide on dates etc.
