TPS AGM Tuesday 16th May

The National Club Finals were held in Mullingar this weekend where Tallaght came Joint 8th in colour and 10th in B&W. We did reasonably well considering we had not entered for a while and it was the first time for all who were helping select the images. Congratulations to Catchlight Camera Club who won the overall event with 2 fantastic panels of images. Next year we will try and improve on these positions which means we need lots of great images from all club members.   There was a distinction sitting also and I am delighted to say that Alastair Thacker was awarded his LIPF. Congratulations to Alastair, the standard was very high and its a great achievement. Hope fully when we meet back in September we can have a look at Alastair’s panel.   Our meeting this week in the Maldron will be our annual AGM. This is an important meeting for the club. Much will be decided about the club and the direction we will take next year. Please attend if you can, decisions will be made that affect all club members and if you are not there you will not be heard and will not be able […]
