TPS will meet back again in the Maldron on Tuesday the 3rd Jan when we will have a look at some of your images taken over the Christmas break so if you have some images please bring them along on a pen drive, 10-15 images should be enough, that way we can get to look at more peoples images. We also have some free dates on the calendar in the coming year so if you have some area of photography that you would like to focus on or have any ideas please suggest them on Tuesday so that the committee can try and arrange some nights around that topic.
For example, the portrait nights have been a great success and people mentioned they would like to see how to set up he lights so we will have an evening going through the light set up.
The following week we will not be meeting at the Maldron. On Tuesday the 10th Jan the TPS International Salon will take place in Tallaght Library located close to the square. This is a great event to attend and see the fantastic standard of images entered into the salon from around the world. Images will be displayed and there will be a prize giving ceremony, I am sure it will be a great night.
There will be no meeting in the Maldron this coming Tuesday. Instead we will be having our Christmas party in Molloys pub in Tallaght Village on Friday the 16th December. There will be food and drinks and some spot prizes. We will also have a competition for the best Christmas photograph judged by an independent judge (The Barman). So please print your best Christmas image and bring it along.
So please remember, no meeting on Tuesday in the Maldron but rather in Molloys on Friday the 16th, 7.30pm.
This Tuesday there will be no meeting in he Maldron Hotel, instead we will be travelling to the city centre to photograph the Christmas lights. We will meet at the Tallaght Luas stop at 7pm and make our way into town. Once we get into town we will make our way to St Stephens green and we should get there at 8pm approx. If people would prefer to make their own way into town we can meet at St Stephens green gates at 8pm.
There will plenty to photograph around St Stephens Green & Grafton Street and we can take refreshments at one of the local taverns.
If you are making your own way into town it might be a good idea to keep in contact by phone to make sure we can all meet up in town.
The following week there will be no meeting in the Maldron Hotel as we will be having our Christmas party in Molloys pub on Friday the 16th.
